The Scarborough Family Physicians Network is the unified voice of primary care physicians in Scarborough.
Our mandate is to support and advocate for family physicians in their central leadership role while providing the highest standard of integrated care to our patients.
We collaborate with the Scarborough Ontario Health Team and other partners to ensure that all family physicians in our community have access to the tools and resources necessary to provide seamless care.

Mission: To be the unified voice of primary care physicians in Scarborough. Through our leadership, patients will have timely access to both specialist and allied health care which will in turn improve provider and patient satisfaction.
Vision: Scarborough Family Physicians Network and its community family physicians will lead the transformation of health care in Scarborough by delivering comprehensive, accessible and continuous healthcare.

Our Journey
The need for a unified voice for family physicians was recognized by a group of primary care leaders who came together in October 2019. Fifteen physicians established the interim leadership team of Scarborough Family Physician Network in December 2019.
Since inception, we have been representing family physicians on various local, provincial and Ontario Health Team tables to shape health care in Scarborough for our patients. To view the Scarborough Family Physicians Network’s By-laws, please click here.
